Cisco MIBs

Believe it or not but I frequently get asked about MIBs supported on a certain Cisco platform or certain revision of code…For instance, I had a customer just yesterday ask me if the PIX platform supported the same MIBs as his ISR router because he was having an issue with bandwidth utilization graphs in What’s Up Gold displaying any information from his PIXs interfaces but his router interfaces displayed correctly.

Cisco actually provides customers with access to all MIBs related to IOS plaforms via CCO. If your looking for certain MIB or are wanting to see what MIBs are supported on a particular router or in a certain version of IOS then you can click the link below to get access to this information, you can download MIBs, search MIBs based on IOS version or product platform. This is a very informative tool you shuold have @ your disposal: IOS MIBs

The link above only provides MIBs for IOS though, what about plaforms that don’t run IOS like in my previously mentioned customers case who had a PIX Firewall? Well we provide you access to those MIBs as well. The following link will provide you access to all other Cisco MIBs based on categorized product family: All Other MIBs
