Absolutely Pablo, in fact we knew ahead of time that positioning questions as they related to how the Nexus is positioned in the DC as opposed to the Cat6500 would be needed and justified…Give me a day or so and I will get the information for the Nexus posts put together…Expect to see quite a few posts in the coming days regarding the Nexus 7000.

Everyone, this is your chance to get your questions regarding the Nexus 7000 answered directly from Doug Gourlay. Doug is the Senior Director of Data Center Solution Group at Cisco and no one knows more about this platform than he. You can watch Doug’s video overview of the Nexus 7000 @ http://blogs.cisco.com/datacenter/. Doug, on behalf of 6200networks and the rest of the user community, thank you for reaching out and offering the assistance to us.

    Joe,

There is a ton of great new stuff to dig into on the Nexus 7000. We had a ton of fun putting together an entire TechWiseTV show on it with Doug Gourlay’s help as well as two great TME’s from his team: Jeff Raymond and Mark Berly. Show notes and details are still being added to our wiki - you can access this show specifically at http://www.mytechwisetv.com/page/29+Defining+the+Data+Center+Class+Switch.

The show will not air until Feb 21. I will have the spotlight clip posted by today however.

    Great blog my man!

    Robb
