This is a great article detailing the significant enhancements to the IronPort Web Reputation Filters. In fact did you know that on average in the “C” series appliances with Virus outbreak filters (a critical first layer of preventive defense against detecting and stopping new outbreaks and viruses before any other technology) the “C” series can find viruses 13 hours before the AV vendors have a signature and in some case 30 or more hours.
