Congratulations Joe
I would have thought that you would be looking towards the CCDE now that you got these 3.
It would seem that this is the certification thats right up your alley now.

Thank you to all of you for not only congratulating me but for also stopping by 6200networks.com…Funny you mention the CCDE Shaun because I am considering taking the written examination for it in the coming months, maybe after summer because I want to spend a lot of quality time with the kids outside this summer…Surprisingly my wife said it was ok for me too if I in fact wanted to take it (yes I had to get permission)…David brings up an excellent point about balancing work, study and family time and I will create a post later today/tonight regarding how I approach this topic because it can be extremely difficult at times…Thanks again to all of you.

Hi Joe,
Many congrats on your recent SP success. I passed R&S earlier in the year and have been picking at SP in my spare time. I’m finding it hard to focus with the blueprints being scattered as they are. No doubt I am not alone in saying that your thoughts on preparation would be of significant interest to those few of us in pursuit of this oddball track…
Again, congratulations sir!

Scott,
Thanks a million and I am in fact creating a preparation post that will be online today that will be titled “The Balancing Act”. I have been working on it for a few days now and it has grown a lot larger than I originally thought but it pretty much walks the reader through my CCIE journey starting with my first CCIE back in 2000.

CCIETalk,
Thank you…Just keep your head down in the books and on the console and you should do just fine…it’s not an easy journey but it sure is nice when it’s over
