New Cisco IPS Manager Express and Cisco IPS Software v6.1

The new Cisco IPS Manager Express (IME) is a powerful yet easy-to-use all-in-one IPS management application for up to 5 IPS sensors. In conjunction with Cisco IPS software v6.1, IME can be used to provision, monitor, troubleshoot and provide reports for IPS 4200 Series sensors, ASA 5500 IPS solution, AIM-IPS on ISRs, and IDSM2 on Catalyst 6500s. With IPS software v5.1 or v6.0, or IOS IPS, you can use IME to monitor and provide reports only, with limited dashboard support. Cisco IPS Manager Express also provides Demo mode, so you can demo the IPS functionalities without connecting to a live Cisco IPS. Cisco IPS Manager Express price is included in the Cisco IPS software; there is no additional charge.

    Is it just me, or is the link for the Manager software broken? All I see is “sorry the file is not found”, is the software release or was there a last minute delay?

    It must be your system, I just logged in and downloaded the file…After clicking the link & logging into CCO. Scroll down to the section titled “Network IPS/IDS Management/Monitoring Software” and under there you will see the link for IME (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ips-ime) click that link then you should be taken to the direct download for IME 6.1.1.exe (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Software/Tablebuild/doftp.pl?ftpfile=cisco/ciscosecure/ips/ime/IME-6.1.1.exe&app=Tablebuild&status=showC2A)
