Joe, I have recently put couple of network tools, an IP address calculator and an ACL builder, on the web that I had developed a while back.
The IP address calculator can subnet an address space using fixed of variable length masks. Another calculator calculates the network and broadcast addresses as well as host address range. The tool is at http://www.netmatics.net/IpAddrTool/IpAddrToolPage.aspx
The ACL builder tool helps build simple standard or extended ACLs. After building an ACL the tool also has a tool to test the list - the user can put a packet source and destination addresses, protocol and port. The tool then runs through the list to find a rule match. The ACL tool is at http://www.netmatics.net/ACL%20Builder/ACLTool.aspx
I would be like to know yours and your readers opinion. Any feedback to improve the usability would be welcome. Thanks.

Furrukh,
Nice tools, on the ACL tool is there anyway to create a named ACL? As far as I can see you can only create a numbered ACL. Thanks.

Joe, thanks. Yes I will add named ACL also. Is there a good reference that I can consult to insure it meets the requirements?
My understanding of named lists is that syntax is same as standard or extended list but the naming rules are different and they are easier to edit from CLI because we can delete individual lines.
Thanks.

Hello Joe, I have added named ACL capability to the ACL tool
http://www.netmatics.net/ACL%20Builder/ACLTool.aspx
A friend of mine also asked to add an e-mail capability so after building and testing a user can email the ACL to desired addresses. That will be next weekends project.
Please let me know if you have comments or suggestions. Thanks.
