AIP SSM40 Orderable

Cisco has turned on order ability of the new Cisco ASA 5500 AIP SSM40.  The Cisco ASA 5500 AIP SSM40 extends Cisco ASA 5500 IPS solution performance up to 650 Mbps of IPS and Firewall throughput. 

 

The Cisco ASA 5500 IPS Solutions are the only integrated appliances in the market to provide hardware-accelerated IPS.  Turning on IPS does not negatively impact firewall or VPN throughput.  The Cisco ASA 5500 Series IPS solution also uniquely provides performance matched IPS and firewall.
