Cisco Catalyst 2960 family has been added to Cisco Power Calculator (CPC). The calculator enables you to calculate the power supply requirements for a specific Power over Ethernet (PoE) configuration. And with the addition of the Catalyst 2960 to CPC, customers and partners will be able to easily select, configure and analyze the power usage and heat dissipation for the 2960 family with configured PoE devices.

Cisco Catalyst 2960 Series Intelligent Ethernet Switches enable entry-level enterprise, medium-sized, and branch office networks to provide enhanced LAN services. This family of fixed-configuration, standalone devices provide desktop 10/100 Fast Ethernet and 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

The Cisco Power Calculator enables you to calculate the power supply requirements for Cisco switch/router configurations.
