EoL/EoS Announcement - Cisco IPS Event Viewer (IEV)

Cisco announces end-of-sale and end-of-life of Cisco IPS Event Viewer (IEV). The last day to download IEV is December 31, 2008. Customers are encouraged to migrate to the new exciting Cisco IPS Manager Express (IME), which provides much greater functionality, including integrated configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting for up to five IPS sensors. Cisco IPS Manager Express is included with Cisco IPS software at no additional charge and can be downloaded from http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/ips-ime.

This EOS announcement does not affect IEV embedded in Cisco Security Manager (CSM). CSM customers with active and paid service and support contracts will continue to receive support of IEV embedded in CSM.
